Wow all may langurs and works great offline… easy to set up and so convenient when traveling. Good solid construction and quality built and fast… so many options just wow.
Once you figure it out this is a really great learning tool. It has a wonderful array of languages and a really nice and loud voice so you can understand it easily. I will say it worked much better for me without any background noise which was messing with the translation a bit. Very happy with this.
The translator device is a seamless solution for real-time language translation. Its compact, portable design makes it easy to take on any international trip, while the intuitive user interface with voice and text support ensures a smooth experience.
I will be travelling soon to Overseas and purchased this little AI pocket translator. It is very small.it comes with a user manual and a USB charger. The battery last for pretty long time. There are so many different languages to select from. You can use it as a voice yranslator or text translator. The interface is super easy to use.It can connect to a bluetooth headset/speakers.Also it is great to translate text from a photo/text,Can also record and translate recordings.I am sure this device will be bery usefull to me and my family when travelling to other countries and break the language barrier for easy communication.I highly recommend this AI translator!
I recently purchased the vormor Language Translator Device and have been extremely impressed with its performance. The two-way real-time voice translation feature is incredibly accurate and has been extremely helpful during my travels. The device supports 138 languages and even offers offline, recording, and photo instant translation options. The 3-inch HD touch screen is easy to navigate and adds to the overall user experience. I have found this translator to be a valuable tool for communication in various situations and would definitely consider it a worthwhile investment for anyone who frequently travels or communicates with individuals who speak different languages.
I bought this device because im traveling to different countries in Europe this summer and I want to be able to communicate with people. The device has some storage room and I was able to download the 3 languages to use offline.
The device ask you for wifi but you can download languages.
Also, it has a camera to translate images so I will use it at restaurants for menus.
I already tried it with my partner as we are both bilingual and the translation was perfect.
Its small , light, you can charge it like a phone, touch screen, it has AI, group translations etc.
I recommend this product for travelers!
I had debated getting this portable translator because I typically use my phone for translation. I will say this device is well worth it. It works better and faster than any app I've tried on my phone. Even Google translate is lacking compared to this device. While I can't say that Google translate is inaccurate very often, this translator seems to be even more accurate in the detection of speech. And it's so much faster! With two way and real time translation, you can have whole conversations with somebody speaking another language without having to constantly switch back and forth between languages and delete previous entries. It's so smooth. And the offline translation is great! As far as I know even Google translate doesn't work offline.Korean translator is correct, recommend!!!
I used this translator at work so far. I work with a lot of people that speak only Spanish, and I cannot speak Spanish. It's proved helpful already and so much easier than fumbling with my phone. I wish I had it last year when I was traveling abroad with no cell service. But luckily I have it now for my next trip!
This language translation device is fantastic! It quickly and accurately translates multiple languages, making it easy for me to communicate while traveling abroad. The device is small, portable, and easy to carry, with simple operation. It not only supports voice translation but also displays the translation results in real-time, making it convenient to check. The built-in voice recognition technology is highly accurate, ensuring excellent translation quality. It can also be used as a music player and recorder, offering versatile functionality. With strong battery life, it has a long lifespan. Overall, this language translation device is an essential travel companion for me!

I wasn’t sure how hard this would be, but so easy to use. I will be traveling and this has all the different languages you need. The best part is I talk into it and it verbally and in writing translates to the correct language. IT has a camera translation so if the writing is in a foreign language I would be able to read it. Truly top quality and compact to go. Even came with a carrying cord so you can put around your neck. USB charger included as well
This Two-Way Language Translator is a device designed for real-time translation without the need for an internet connection.
Upon receiving the device, I was impressed by its sleek and compact design. It felt lightweight yet sturdy, making it convenient to carry around for travel or everyday use. The interface was intuitive, with clear buttons and a user-friendly display.
The standout feature of this translator device is its ability to provide two-way translation in real-time, even without an internet connection. This offline functionality is incredibly useful when traveling to remote areas or locations with limited connectivity. It supports a wide range of languages, allowing for seamless communication in diverse linguistic environments. I particularly appreciated the device's speech recognition capabilities, which accurately captured spoken words for translation. The translations provided were generally accurate and understandable, although there were occasional minor errors, especially with complex or colloquial language. Another notable feature is the device's offline database, which stores a vast library of phrases and expressions for quick reference. This is especially handy for common situations such as asking for directions, ordering food, or engaging in basic conversations.
I’m visiting Italy where my family lives. I tried it out on my mom first and she’s an impressed. My Mexican neighbor said it was spot on too. I love my new toy and will be perfect for visiting family in Italy.
Trying to determine if this is truly better than using translate apps on the phone. It’s really fast, speak into it and it nearly immediately plays back in the desired translated language. It fits quite nicely in your hand. Small and compact. Battery so far seems sufficient. Can be charged with a usb battery pack. Has a photo text translate option.
The translator works really well. It’s very simple to use and the interface is user friendly. You can also download languages to use offline. It comes with everything you need, even a very handy strap so you can attach it to a lanyard.
This portable translator is very high caliber and portable. It fits nicely in one's purse, pocket or bag. This is ideal for travel and will make for accessible communication. This translator is also a good language tool/device to increase one's fluecy. I highly recommend it!
This AI Translator is amazing! The language choices are extensive, the interpretion speed is fast, and there are multiple modes available to allow a vast array of uses. You can record yourself or others, translate photos or foreign documents, converse with someone in real time, even speak within a group. As a learning tool you can simply speak a word or phrase then press the translate button as many times as necessary - and you can reverse that to see if you are enunciation properly. The included instructions are brief so there is a trial and error learning curve. This translator is small and sleek and will fit easily into a pocket. It is charged via usb-c and seems to hold the charge very well. This is a very useful tool for learning, traveling, even doing research if documents need translated. Very versatile, very useful!
I got this for travel and also for my family. I am Latin and some of my family members don’t talk English. Is an easy to use device and pretty accurate. The only thing I don’t like is the voice of the Spanish speaker. I wish there were more options, however it doesn’t have to do with functionality.
High quality device in compact package. Can easily carry in pocket or purse and use in a pinch to be clearly understood. Gives great peace of mind to have this on hand.
This portable two-way instant translation device is one of the coolest little pieces of tech I've seen in a while!!Although most of the latest flagship smartphones can do just about everything this can do, this little thing is so well made and thought-out for the specific use-case of 2 way translation that it's just so much faster, smoother, and more intuitive to quickly whip out of your pocket and use in a real-world scenario where you need a live translation fast. This thing has a TON of really cool functions that I'm just barely scratching the surface of. You can of course do 2-way live recordings (check out the video to see a quick clip of that), you can store recordings to translate and replay common phrases, you can do group translations where you actually collaborate with other people/devices (not sure exactly how to best use this feature yet, but I'm sure there's tons of cool things you could do), you can download (via wifi on the device) language packs for offline translation, translate text from an image via the camera on the back, you can even use Chat GPT in this thing which I was very surprised and excited to see! Here's a quick list of pros/cons I've noticed so far that might be helpful if you're considering purchasing one of these (spoiler alert - do it!):Pros: - Fantastic and clear perfectly palm sized high-contrast touchscreen display that's very responsive and accurate.- Incredibly accurate voice-to-text AND language translations.- Great battery life- Expandable storage with memory card slot- USB C charging portCons: - It's really loud when you first turn it on! At least mine was. It does/can get very loud which I could see being a great thing in busy real-world settings, but be prepared for a startle when you first power up lol!- I haven't found a way to turn off the touch feedback sounds when you click any button on the screen. Not only do I personally just find those sounds a bit annoying on every single keypress (on any touchscreen) and prefer to turn off, on this one it's even a bit worse as the little sound that plays each time seems to be a sound file that's several seconds long. The notification itself only sounds for less than a second, but then there's another second or 2 of "silence" that still plays every single time and comes through the speaker as very faint white-noise. Not a huge deal and doesn't impact function at all, but it gets a bit annoying on each keypress. Hoping there's a way to turn off hidden in the settings! While those cons may seem long, they're really just small things I've tried to thoroughly describe so you can get a good sense of them. I really consider them very minor and highly recommend this device!!!
It is a great portable translation machine. Fairly accurate for a portable ai translator. Works well with basic questions. Can scan books and translate. Fun gadget to have when traveling.
This little thing is awesome. The translations may not always be 100% accurate but it is good enough to understand. My wife’s family lives in Brazil and speaks in Portuguese and my family is here in the US and does not speak Portuguese. We will be bringing this to our wedding in February and give to our parents to speak to each other. Will be buying more of these. Perfect size to fit in pocket when traveling. Seems better than translation apps
This translator is easy to use. It has voice recognition software and quickly responds to questions asked regarding translations. The device is sufficient for travel, and it’s versatile. I highly recommend it.
I use this as I pastor a church that has for different languages every week. I only speak English, so I use my translator to communicate in Spanish, Russian, and Swahili. You need a great product that is easy to use this is your choice right here.
Once you figure it out this is a really great learning tool. It has a wonderful array of languages and a really nice and loud voice so you can understand it easily. I will say it worked much better for me without any background noise which was messing with the translation a bit. Very happy with this.
I had no clue how this thing was going to work and found myself playing with it for a while. I have taken a few Spanish classes so I played both both the Spanish to English and the English to Spanish setting. It was able to pick up on my words about as good as Siri which just means you need to talk slowly and articulate your words. Not very good in louder locations but great for some light or important conversations you need translated. It’s super easy to use and comes with a book to guide you through it. You just hold down one of the buttons as you speak and it translates it for you. The volume is very good and I’m sure there are ways to adjust it but I found it speaking very fluently from the Spanish I remember. It’s very portable and I plan on gifting it to my nurse mother so she can relay important information to her Spanish Speacking patients. Such an amazing idea and a very good execution.
I have used other translators before, including many apps on my phone and even translator earbuds. When I saw a standalone translator that does not require a phone, I knew that I had to have it! Maybe I am dating myself a bit, but this AI translator is what I'd been dreaming about for years in my old Spanish classes - why can't I just have a device that is intuitive, easy to use, and translates with me? While this little translator has its quirks and isn't perfect, I so far really like it. I took many years off of speaking Spanish since I took 5 years of it in high school, and I was never anywhere close to proficient at it, so I am trying to re-learn the Spanish language and that is the context for this review.
Packaging/Presentation: This touchscreen AI translator comes in a nice little grayish Apple-esque box and includes the translator, instruction booklet, and a USB-C charging cable.
Look/Feel: This AI translator is small, portable, and lightweight and has the power button on the left side, two language translation buttons on the right side, a small camera on back for the photo translation mode, a USB-C charging port, and a micro SD port on the left side for additional storage for offline translation packages. After a few minutes getting used to the touchscreen interface, I felt the device was pretty easy to use and intuitive.
Use: This device has a few different modes on its main menu: Online translation (recommended for best results), Offline translation (requires offline package for the specific language you want to be downloaded prior to use), recording, photo translation, group translation, and realtime translation. There is also offline package management and settings. Admittedly I have not used all of these modes, but I will briefly try to describe them based on my experience and the instruction booklet:
Online Translation: You choose two languages to go between, in my case English and Spanish that correspond to either the red or blue buttons on the side or down below. Simply hold down that icon, speak in that language, and it translates to the other language. I like this because it is quicker and more dynamic than other apps I have seen. The downside it you do have to hold the button down to keep talking.
Offline Translation: Similar to the online translation mode, only it can be used without an internet connection. You first need to download your languages translation package for this feature to work somewhere where you have internet, so make sure you do that first. The instruction manual does warn that speed and accuracy are sacrificed when using this mode compared to the online mode.
Recording: This allows you to record something and save it onto either the device, or a micro SD card if you have one. You can then choose a language to translate your recording to - note that it will only translate as text, and won't turn the recording itself into a translation.
Photo Translation: Uses the device's camera to take a picture of text, and translate it into the selected language of your choice. Kind of cool! (See picture attached to review).
Group Translation: I'm not really sure how to use this to be honest. Per the instructions, you can invite multiple people to the group and communicate in different languages within the group. You need that person's specific ID to use this feature, which leads me to believe this is for use with others who own this particular AI translator device, but I could be wrong.
Realtime translation: Similar to the Online Translation mode, but it is a bit more dynamic in that you press the language you're speaking in's button once instead of having to hold it down when talking, then simply press again to end your speaking (see video where I demonstrate this feature).
Offline package management: Where you can download and view offline language packages in case you will be in a spot with no wifi internet access.
Settings: Adjust volume, brightness, wifi, bluetooth (only supports audio playback, not audio input), date/time, and storage settings if you add a micro SD card (device has 8 GB storage built-in, but much of that is already used when you get it).
Conclusion: There is a lot that I like about this AI translator. It is not perfect, and I have used translators that are a bit faster and a bit more accurate before. However, the big plus for me with this one is that it does not require use on a phone, and that it does have an offline option, even if it is admittedly not the ideal option. I think this AI translator does a good job, and I like that it is small and compact, versatile, intuitive, and easy to use. It appears to be accurate enough for me to get my point across, and I would be okay using this "in the field" so to speak - and it does not drain form my phone battery, which is a big plus when traveling! The photo translator/included camera is a nice touch as well, as it can help me when I am reading or trying to learn Spanish. Overall, I really like this device, and I would recommend it!

✔ Photo translation is a nice added bonus (see picture).
Firstly, let me just say how skeptical at first I was to order this. Sometimes you just don't know if something's going to work the way it's supposed to but this does very well.
It comes in handy in a way that I do travel abroad quite a bit with a friend who loves traveling to spanish-speaking countries. I don't speak Spanish very well as I did not take Spanish in college. I took French so my French is a lot better haha. Sometimes I've gotten by with using my phone to translate different languages but it was not as easy to do on my phone. But this language translator is lightweight and is compact enough that I can carry it in my pocket. Aside from traveling, there are places where locally, people do not speak English very well and so this translator comes in very handy when I have to communicate with them.
What I like about this translator is that it is straightforward and very easy to set up. I tried connecting to Wi-Fi at home and found the response time of translating my statements are much faster as compared to using the hotspot on my phone. When connected to the hotspot on my phone, there seems to be a longer delay in between translations.
I don't know how many languages, but this translator can translate a vast number of languages. Just make sure that when you begin initial setup, to charge the translator completely before using. Nicely, mine was already charged up to 99% so it didn't take long to get it fully charged. I practiced using this translator with a friend from Puerto Rico and he could understand perfectly as it also gave Spanish translations and narrowed it to Puerto Rican Spanish which was cool. Also worked perfectly well when translating Spanish to English. However, I found a few words were incorrect in translation. Definitely, when speaking more clearly, there were no incorrect translations.
One thing to note is that when using the translator, the charge on the battery seems to go down rather quickly. So that might be an area of concern if you have to use the translator quite a bit. When not in use, the charge is held and kept relatively at the level it was when you turned the unit off.
So even with the concern of the battery, I like this unit and I definitely recommend this for traveling abroad or in any situation when you need a translator. I even use it as a learning tool to help me with learning Spanish . I think it's a good product and I would recommend.
Oh and before I forget, I don't I see that you can change the voice playback sound as a female's voice is what this translator uses.
Great item. I got it to help with language translation on upcoming international trips as well as other trips. This device is very thorough and has a long list of languages that it covers. I have a interest in learning and broadening my knowledge with Spanish as well as Korean language and this can definitely help. This device has so many great features. You can of course translate between 2 languages, record videos as well.
Simple words, big impact! This language gadget is a rock star. Translates languages like magic, fits in my pocket, and the battery just keeps going. It's my travel superhero—no more language stress. If you're on the fence, jump off and get one – you won't regret it!
This pocket-sized translator is fluent in a surprising number of languages. The translator converts between dozens of languages. It even distinguishes between Moroccan Arabic and Arabic spoken in Jordan.
Pick the two languages the translator needs to change between. Press a button down to have the translator take in the phrase. After a few seconds, the translator will convert the phrase to the second language.
Just like there are homonyms and idioms in English, the translation can occasionally be subject to misinterpretation. Still, I was impressed at how handy it is to be able to convert phrases.
This is a very useful device for people who work in a place where a lot of languages are spoken, such as a hospital. It is also useful for traveling, of course.
The device really shines when translating short phrases. I would not depend on it for a paragraph of information at a time.
I was wondering if this unit is accurate, so I tested it with DeepL and Google. The results are not too bad. Sometimes, it matches one or the other's translation, and sometimes it doesn't match either of them, but the translation seems fairly close. So, I'm guessing that the other person will understand what you are saying. Since Google and DeepL do not agree on a translation, I think there's more than one way to translate a sentence. As long as your sentences are short, and proper, this should get your meaning across. Just like the online translators, this will have trouble interpreting vague sentences or slang.
I tried translating German, Japanese and Spanish, since I have some familiarity with them. I'm not fluent in them, but the translations sound reasonably accurate. I used the offline mode, and I was impressed that it could decipher my words. Whenever I dial those robo-operators on the telephone, they never understand what I'm saying. My voice is raspy, so I was pleased that this could understand what I was saying. I'm giving it points for that. When I tried speaking a foreign language with my American accent, it still understood what I was saying. Amazing.
It's very easy to translate between two people. There are two buttons at the bottom shaped like a microphone, one red and one blue. You hold down the red button while speaking your language. When you want to record the other person's reply, you just hold down the blue button while they speak. It should begin translating immediately. You do not need an internet connection, because it will translate many different languages offline.
It takes 30 seconds to boot from a cold start, and you tap and swipe to get to various pages, so I'm guessing it uses the Android operating system. I love the size of it, and there are only 3 buttons, a power button, and two volume buttons. It also has a USB-C port for charging. This thing is quite small, and very flat, so it easily fits in your pocket.
When you use it for the first time, you will need a wifi connection. Typing on this thing is absolutely horrible. The keyboard is like an old flip phone, where you have to use the dial pad to find the letter you want. Fortunately, I only had to do that once. Afterwards, you can use it in offline mode.
The camera is not great, because it's kinda slow to focus. If you are trying to take a photo of text on a computer monitor, it takes a few seconds to focus. Also, you cannot take a horizontal image. The camera must always remain vertical. That means you're going to get a lot of text above or below what you are trying to capture. The camera does have a pinch to zoom function, but you can't crop just the text you want translated. Often, the OCR will fail because the image is just too complicated. It will also fail when you photograph vertical writing. For example, I went to google images to find some airport signs in Japanese. It failed to recognize vertical writings, but it could translate horizontal writing. Sometimes, the translations would come out garbled. OCR from a photo is very difficult, so I didn't expect great things. Still, I'm impressed that it works as well as it does.
Since this device is so small, and flat, the battery doesn't last very long. The power drains quickly, but if you don't plan on using it constantly, it shouldn't be a problem. I used it for about an hour, and it's down to 60%.
Overall, I like the build quality of this device. It feels like a small smartphone. I'm also impressed that it works as well as it does in offline mode. It's not a good as a human translator, but this should come through for you in a pinch. As long as you keep your sentences concise and proper, this will work as advertised. I was going to give it 4 stars, but I think it deserves more than that, maybe 4.5 stars, because it doesn't need an internet connection. Also, it has a camera that can do OCR. It may not work perfectly, but it was able translate the simpler images.
This is a generic product. There's no brand name on the box, so it's probably being sold under different names. If you can get it at a good price, then this is definitely worth getting for your next trip. You never know when you may need it.
We had an immediate need to communicate to a new colleague where English was not their 1st language. so it was a plug-and-play situation that worked well, once we connected our home internet. I provided 5 stars for the above reasons and will likely by a second device, so we expand our translation capability.
